此瓶为六棱玉壶春制式，花口外撇，束颈，器身自颈向下渐阔，垂腹收至六方圈足，轮廓线条修长秀美。通体施温润红釉，釉面遍布细碎开片，釉色古朴沉郁，点缀细密褐黑色沁点，质感厚重。底呈六边形，露浅黄胎边，心内书 “柴” 字款。 六棱造型打破圆器单调，端庄灵动，红釉寓意吉祥红火，适宜陈设插花，是颇具古韵的文房雅器。

This vase adopts hexagonal Yuhuchun shape, with flared floral rim, slender neck, expanding pear-shaped body and hexagonal foot, presenting elegant and graceful silhouette. The whole vessel is covered with mellow red glaze full of fine crackles, featuring primitive and deep tone scattered with tiny dark speckles. The hexagonal base reveals pale yellow unglazed rim, with the inscribed character "Chai" in the centre. The hexagonal structure distinguishes it from ordinary circular wares.
