此壶取圆珠壶式，以青段砂全手工精制。壶身浑圆如珠，短直流爽利，圈把圆润，珠钮小巧，比例匀称。泥色呈青绿色调，遍洒黄砂细点，古朴雅致。壶身一面刻论道图：老者长髯飘胸，童子侍坐旁侧，二人对坐论道，芭蕉叶掩映，意态悠然；旁刻行书 "畅怀" 等字，落款 "古阳羡 孟民刻"。另一面刻行书 "春海壶中笛客" 诗句，笔意流畅。底钤 "乐陶居" 印，旁刻 "一九五六年中国宜兴 国际陶艺研讨会纪念" 款。此壶为 1956 年国际陶艺研讨会纪念壶，泥色温润，刻工精到，兼具文人意趣与历史纪念价值。

This teapot is crafted in the round (yuanzhu) shape, fully hand-made from green duan sand clay. The body is perfectly spherical, paired with a crisp short spout, rounded loop handle, and small bead knob — all in balanced proportion. The clay displays a bluish-green tone speckled with yellow sand grains, appearing rustic and elegant. One side is carved with a "Discourse on the Way" scene: an elderly bearded sage sits facing a young acolyte, with banana leaves in the background — serene and contemplative. Beside the figure, running script reads "Chang Huai" (Joyful Heart), signed "Gu Yangxian, carved by Mengmin." The reverse side is carved with a poetic line in running script. The base bears the seal "Letaoju" (Studio of Joyful Pottery) alongside the inscription "1956, Yixing, China — International Ceramics Seminar Commemorative Edition." This piece is a 1956 commemorative teapot for the International Ceramics Seminar. The clay is warm and lustrous, the carving is refined — combining literati charm with historical commemorative value.
